It takes place annually, gathering several thousand exhibitors representing book publishing, multimedia and technology companies, and content providers from all over the world. The five-day event is held at the Frankfurt Trade Fair grounds in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. The first three days are restricted exclusively to professional visitors; the general public attends the fair on the weekend.
